The Women's Guild is a diverse group of women. Many are married, others are single, widowed or divorced. Some are life-long Catholics; some are new converts. All women at Holy Spirit are welcome to join us.
Our primary purpose is to provide fellowship and support to the women of our parish. We get together to share our faith through prayers and readings at our monthly meetings. One of the most important benefit of membership is the sense of community and friendship we build with each other. One of our most rewarding purposes is to create and distribute "Blessing Blankets" for anyone in need of special comfort and support.
Every other year or so we host a luncheon and fashion show to provide fun and fellowship for the members of our parish. There are a variety of social events planned throughout each year where we can laugh and play, including our annual Epiphany party, shopping trips, bunco nights, bowling, teas, and many more. We also attend spiritual retreats where we join together to refresh our hearts and souls.
On the first Sunday of each month we are responsible for distribution of the donuts in the hall after Sunday Masses. We work together with other ministries of the parish to promote God's work within our parish and the community.
We normally meet on the first Thursday each month at 7:00 PM in Logan Hall. Watch your bulletin for details. Please join us! Feel free to contact Kris Lopez at (559) 906-7001 for more information.
