HOLY SPIRIT will have a FIRST FRIDAY DEVOTION at the 12:15 Mass beginning on October 6th! Sponsored by the Blessed Pier Giorgio Lay Dominicans and the Knights of Columbus Council 16185, on the First Friday of every Month, there will be a short prayer of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus before Mass. Brochures on the History and Promises of the First Friday Devotion will be available in the Church. **We are also raising funds to purchase a marble statue of The Sacred Heart of Jesus for Holy Spirit (see picture), which will be located outside and to the right of the Church main entrance. There will be a table set up outside after Masses on Sundays and on First Fridays, starting in September to collect donations! OUR GOAL IS $15,000 - $17,000 In these troubled times, it is important to remember the love and mercy offered to us through the Sacred Heart of Jesus; and to offer our love and devotion in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which Our Lord is offended. Power in My Hands Curious about the Holy Rosary?
The Knights of Columbus would like to invite everyone to attend an informative 80-minute Rosary video presentation: POWER IN MY HANDS, followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary. Msgr. Logan Hall on Sunday, October 29th at 3:00 PM. Refreshments will be served. Bring a friend. Also, anyone seeking information on how to join the Knights of Columbus will have questions answered.

Holy Spirit Healing Ministry currently holds Open Prayer for unscheduled appointments on the 1st Monday of each month in the church. Please come in for prayer at anytime between 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. For personal prayer needs, please contact the parish office to set up an appointment. 559 434-7701. |
The Catholic Charities donation truck will be in the Holy Spirit parking lot on the 2nd weekend of each month. Members from the Men's Club will be there to assist before and after each Mass. Please bring your gently used clothing or small appliances to donate.
