High School Confirmation

- In the Diocese of Fresno, all teens must be 16 years old in order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and have completed 2 years of formation.
- Classes take place on Sunday evenings, 1-2 times/month: CII is 1pm to 2pm -OR- 5pm to 6pm (space pending), and CI is 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
- In addition to class, students must complete 15 service hours before moving onto CII or being confirmed.
- A retreat is a requirement, and no student will receive the Sacrament without attending a retreat.
- Second-year students must write their Letter of Intent to Msgr. McCormick and complete a Saint project.
- Attendance is required at a minimum of 50% of all scheduled Holy Hours each year.
- Participation in our Youth Group, while not mandatory, is encouraged.

- The cost is $150 per child per year. The cost includes the class, speaker events and the retreat. You may pay online (below link), or via cash or check.
TEEN CONFIRMATION - Registration Forms 2024-2025
** IMPORTANT INFORMATION **
We no longer accept emailed packets. All forms and paperwork must be submitted in person at the Religious Education Office. The Religious Ed office is located in Logan Hall, on the corner of the classrooms corridor. Our door faces the corner of Champlain and Sherman Ave. Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday.
CURRENT CI STUDENTS: CII will open on Monday, April 15th at 9:00am for all current 2023-2024 CI students. Completed packets and payment must be submitted before the teen can be registered. We will not accept incomplete packets. Once registered, you may pick your preferred time for CII class (1p or 5p). Once a class fills up, your student will be registered for the other class time. THE 5PM CLASS TIME IS NOW FULL. CII STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED (AS OF MAY 13TH) WILL BE PLACED IN THE 1:00PM CLASS. The fee is $150. You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Payments by credit card can be made by clicking the "Religious Education" icon below.
NEW CII and CI STUDENTS: Registration for new Confirmation students, CI or CII, will be open Monday, April 29th at 9:00am. Again, teens will not be registered unless the entire packet is completed, payment has been made and corresponding documents (Baptism, First Communion certificates, etc.) are submitted. The fee is $150. You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Payments by credit card can be made by clicking the appropriate icon below.
We encourage all Confirmation students to join our High School Youth Group. Youth Group meets twice a month on Wednesday evenings. More information can be found here and the calendar of events is attached below.
