Legion of Mary Ministry
The Legion of Mary's purpose is to bring its members closer to God by bringing the Good News of Christ's love to those who pay little or no attention to Him. It is a 100% spiritual organization based on face to face contact. They visit people in their homes, console the sick and sorrowful, encourage non-practicing Catholics to return, seek converts and teach Religious Education classes.
Members attend a weekly meeting at Msgr Logan Hall on Tuesday 6:00 pm for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to pray and receive assignments for two hour's work, in pairs, as Jesus sent out His disciples.
