What is the Holy Spirit Healing Ministry?
The Holy Spirit Healing Ministry is a parish ministry established to meet the needs of the community and to bring God's healing love to all through healing prayer. It is also complimentary to the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick administered by the priest.
How do we pray for healing?
The Prayer Ministers use many forms of healing prayer and each prayer session is unique and inspired by the Holy Spirit. The prayer recipient will be prayed over by a team of two or three prayer ministers after listening to the prayer recipient's needs.
How can I receive Healing Prayer?
If you would like to receive healing prayer, please contact the parish office at 559 434-7701
with your contact information and healing needs so one of our team members can arrange an appointment or notify you of the next healing event at the parish.
What training was involved for the Healing Ministry?
The Holy Spirit Healing Ministers have completed four levels of training under the guidance of the Servants and Handmaids, SHMJ, West Coast School of Healing Prayer. They have also completed Safe Environment training and fingerprinting as required by the Diocese of Fresno.
*Holy Spirit Healing Ministry currently holds Open Prayer for unscheduled appointments on the 1st Monday of each month in the church. Please come in for prayer at anytime between 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
