Office of the Bishop, Diocese of Fresno
Memorandum
"As we all know, the Omicron variant of the Covid virus has certainly taken us by storm. Here at the Pastoral Center the impact has been felt and continues to be felt strongly. Also, my office has received a number of complaints from people who have noted that some of our locations are not following the published guidelines of the Diocese. So, please keep in mind that everyone indoors is to wear a mask at all times unless, of course, they are receiving the Holy Eucharist."
Please be aware that we are to be obedient to our Bishop.
Some parishioners are not attending Mass in person due to the fact that many are still going against the Bishop's requirement to wear a mask. Because of this, they are not able to receive Holy Communion. Regardless of your vaccination status, your antibodies or the fact that it is a mandate and not a law, masks are required.

As our church doors open to 100% capacity, our parish begins the restart of our many ministries where we are able. We still have several restrictions and guidelines in place especially for ministries with youth aged parishioners. Sadly, some of our parish family members are no longer with us. This includes ministry members and leaders.
Well, this just may be a good time to stop for a moment and take stalk. Stalk of what? Our lives, our health, our families, our faith. Everything. Maybe now is a good time for a personal restart. Is God calling you? We are each called to be full and active members of our parish faith communities. Let's take a step together. A step to a better understanding of our faith. A step towards fellowship and charity. A step to improving our personal relationship with Christ. A step to sharing the beauty of our faith and friendship with others.
There are many steps that we can take to restart our parish and we want you to be a part of it! Won't you join us now? Take a moment to look at our Ministries Page, the Ministries List at the back of the bulletin or contact us. Please, restart and join us!

Pope Francis Says That Everyone Should Be Vaccinated:
"I believe that ethically everyone should take the vaccine... It is an ethical choice because you are gambling with your health, with your life, but you are also gambling with the lives of others."
