Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Curious about the Catholic Faith, thinking about joining or returning to the Church? Or just want to understand your Catholic family members better? The word "inquiry" is an open forum to explore the Catholic Faith. A perfect starting point for anyone considering RCIA or Adult Confirmation.
EVERY JOURNEY IS UNIQUE. God offers his love and friendship to all people. He meets us wherever we are in our journey of life, and invites us to take our next step with him. At Holy Spirit Catholic Church, we would be honored to accompany you on your journey, and to share our experience of God with you. We offer an informal, no-pressure group called Inquiry for those who are curious or have questions. Anyone is welcome, from any religious background or from none, at any stage of your spiritual life. Our goal is simply to offer the wisdom of the Catholic Tradition and, hopefully, to help you take the next step that God is calling you to do.
Please see the bulletin for details on when the classes will take place.
If you have any questions regarding the group, please call the
Religious Education Office at (559) 434-3522.
Please note that RCIA has already started and no new members will be added to the group at this time. Please consult the bulletin for details on the RCIA 1 sessions that will commence in January, 2019.
Holy Spirit Catholic Church has an active and Christ-centered RCIA dedicated to welcoming and addressing any adult seeking any of the initiation sacraments-Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Communion- and to prepare already baptized Christians wishing to embrace Catholicism for reception into the Church. These classes are held Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
