Our Catholic Faith

Are you or someone you know interested in exploring the Catholic faith?
Do you have questions about why we as Catholics do what we do and believe what we believe?

Are you looking to grow in the basic knowledge of the true beauty of Catholicism?
Are You Thinking About Becoming Catholic?
Do you want to learn more about the Catholic faith?

(For those interested in becoming Catholic, “Our Catholic Faith” is required in order to move forward with RCIA in the fall.)
If you have answered yes, to any of these questions,
Then you'll want to be a part of the bi-monthly “Our Catholic Faith” sessions which meet at
7p-8p on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month.

This class is open to both Catholics and non-Catholics.
There is no cost to attend and you may join at any time.
These sessions are also open to Catholics wanting to rediscover our faith.

What is "our Catholic Faith"?
This class is open to both Catholics and non-Catholics

OUR CATHOLIC FAITH: Sessions allow you the opportunity to examine the Catholic faith more closely. The sessions are based on the readings for that day and then discussion opens up based upon the group’s inquiries. The purpose of this group is to act as:
  • an Inquiry Phase for those wanting to join the Catholic faith
  • an educational experience for those who are Catholic and want to learn more about their faith
  • a place for those seeking community within the Church.

During these sessions participants ask questions, explore Catholic teachings and discover what it means to be a Catholic Christian and are designed to offer accurate information and clarify any misconceptions about the Catholic Church.  Should you then decide that you want to become Catholic, you may move into a deeper level of faith formation in our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) class.

Anyone inquiring about the Catholic faith is required to attend these classes in order to move forward with RCIA.
To join the group, text OCF to 84576.
